Durez Corporation will increase the selling price on all grades of Phenolic Resins effective with shipments starting on November 1st, 2005. The price increase will vary according to the resin grade and raw material component.

Durez Corporation will increase the selling price of General Purpose and Glass-Filled Phenolic Molding Compounds by $0.05 to $0.10 per pound, depending on grade, effective with shipments on April 15, 2005. The price increase is a result of the continuing cost escalation of raw materials, including phenol, formaldehyde, hexamine and fiberglass.

Dallas, Texas - March 18th, 2005
Durez Corporation will increase the selling price on all grades of Phenolic Resins effective with shipments starting on April 1st, 2005. The price increase will be in a range of $.06 per pound to $.29 per pound according to the resin grade (Liquid, Solid, Flake, Powder, Methylon) and raw material component. This Phenolic Resin price increase is a result of the upward movement in phenol prices announced for April, as well as other raw material costs such as Hexamine, Formaldehyde, Solvents, Acids, Oils, and many other resin raw materials which have increased significantly since last year.
